What information does the Wholesaler or Customer Check verify?

Do you want to know which product data is important for your wholesaler or customer and what information is still missing? Then use the Wholesale or Customer Check.

Every customer uses product information in a different way. For example, a wholesaler needs extensive logistics data to be able to order, store and distribute a product. A customer, such as a hospital or caterer, also often needs more substantive product information, for example about the composition and nutritional values.

With the checks, you can see which data is important to these customers and which fields for your products have not yet been fully filled in.

What data does the 'Wholesale Check' check?

For wholesalers, the following data are checked, among others:

• GPC (Global Product Classification);
• GTIN-codes on CE en HE;

• net weight on CE, HE and GTIN pallet;

• gross weight on CE, HE and GTIN pallet;

• storage condition Ex production;

• storage condition Receipt wholesaler;

• at least one pallet in the logistics hierarchy;

• functional name;

• at least one packing material.

This information helps a wholesaler to order, receive, store and distribute the product, among other things.

What data does the 'Customer Check' check?

For a customer, such as a hospital or caterer, the data from the Wholesale Check are also important. Many of these organizations receive their products through a wholesaler.

In addition, the Customer Check checks additional product information:

• GMO-free;

• country of origin;

• available unit on CE, HE and GTIN pallet;

• invoice unit on CE, HE and GTIN pallet;

• order unit on CE, HE and GTIN pallet;

• storage instructions on the label;

• at least one method of preparation;

• at least one sensory trait;

  • nutritional value per serving;

  • Additional nutritional values:

  • vegetable protein;

  • animal protein;

  • transvetzuren;

  • fiber;

  • added sugar;

  • added salt;

• type of expiration date;

• location of the expiration date on the packaging.

Why is it important to use these checks?

By following the relevant check, you can better match product information to what your customers need. You can immediately see which data is still missing and can then add it to Data Entry.

A fully completed check means that the data that is checked within this check is present. This helps your customers to work with the most complete product information possible.
